UNESCO - Standards de compétences TIC des enseignants

Les gouvernements, les experts et les professionnels du secteur de l’éducation reconnaissent de manière croissante le rôle essentiel qu’ont à jouer les technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) pour contribuer au progrès et à la réforme de l’enseignement.

L’UNESCO a travaillé en coopération avec Cisco, Intel et Microsoft, ainsi qu’avec la Société internationale pour la technologie dans l’enseignement (International Society for Technology in Education – ISTE) et la Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), sur le projet des “Standards de compétences TIC des enseignants”. Ce projet propose des orientations pour améliorer la pratique des enseignants grâce à l’utilisation des TIC.

La première phase du projet, achevée fin 2007, a abouti à l’élaboration de trois brochures sur les Standards de compétences TIC des enseignants. La publication de cet ensemble de brochures a été annoncée à Londres le 8 janvier 2008 à l’occasion de la conférence Moving Young Minds, séminaire international organisé par le gouvernement britannique et réunissant les ministres de l’Education et les décideurs :
